Garmin Point of Interest for Indian Restaurants By Vikas Shukla of Reference Designer POI for Indians means person of Indian Origin. For people in US using Garmin or any other GPS it has another meaning.- Point of Interest. Till now there has been no Point of Interest for Indian Grocery and Indian Restaurant. This was until diggsamachar developed the POI for for Indian Groceries and Indian Restaurants. Search for diggsamachar POI and once you are at the required page follow the steps required to integrate the Point of Interest in your Garmin GPS. Here are the Steps required to integrate Indian Grocery and Indian Restaurant Point of Interest in your Garmin GPS. 1. Download the Diggsamachar zipped POI file for Indian Grocery and Indian Restaurant Locator - Download Indian POI 2. Unzip the Indian_POI.zip file. There will be 4 files in a folder. 3. Download and install Point of Interest for Windows . 5. Connect your Garmin Unit to Computer using USB Cable. Run the POI loader. Follow the instructions. Point to the folder containing the files you downloaded and unzipped. The Point of interest files will be downloaded to your Garmin GPS. Remove the USB Cable.
